Frugal Franklin: Best deals for bargain shoppers in Franklin
When people think of Franklin they most likely think of the lovely historic homes and businesses, or the quaint 1800s downtown square, with its boutiques and hip restaurants and the signature Franklin Theatre. That is all very nice, but me, I think of bargain hunting, since some of my very favorite thrift and discount shops are right there in Franklin.

Nashville Humane Association is at The Nashvi...

PET OF THE WEEK PENNY! Currently featured on The Nashville Sign, PENNY will be Available2Adopt this week at #CMAFest! Nashville Humane Association is partnering with Miranda Lambert's MuttNation to participate in the MuttNation CMA Fest Adoption Event at Nashville Music City Center June 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th. PS: Thanks for creating this fun ad, MediaTree Advertising! More about Penny… Penny was living in a rural county shelter with her puppies before moving to NHA. The shelter they were in was overcrowded and Nashville Humane Association was called to see if we had room for them all. NHA did and they all move here together. Not much is known about Penny’s history before moving to NHA, but since moving to NHA, one can’t help but notice how SWEET SHE IS! Penny’s adorable puppies have all been adopted (YAY) and Penny is currently being treated for heartworms. She’s currently not allowed to run, hike, jump, or romp, but may still go for short walks on a leash. Which, by the way, she adores. When she gets adopted, her new family will get instructions from NHA’s Vet Services Team about her future follow up treatment (which is covered by NHA's Have A Heart Program) Penny is always happy. Always. That’s her. 100%. She’s a happy girl looking for a happy home filled with love, outside adventures, inside snuggle time, and an endless supply of daily kisses on her big forehead. She is so ready to be someone’s unconditional love. Her tail wags like a propeller tail just thinking about the day she will have her very own forever family to call her own. So please come meet her at CMA Fest. You can’t miss Penny – She’ll be the girl with the BIG SMILE on her face ready to be YOUR Good Luck Charm! For more details how to adopt PENNY or any of her NHA shelter friends, please call 615.352.1010 or visit 213 Oceola Avenue, located in West Nashville. Thank You. Name – PENNY Adoption Fee – $45.00 Breed – Pit Bull Mix Age – 5 years old Sex – Spayed Female Weight – 62 pounds
