MTSU football: Road to Camellia Bowl was tumultuous
CLOSE There were high expectations, then disappointment. There was frustration - a lot of frustration - and then a glimmer of hope. MTSU thought its season was over, and then it wasn't. No, this was not how anyone drew it up.

The program will also include the pastoral Serenade to Music by Ralph Vaughan Williams and the rollicking Danzón No. 2 by Mexican composer Arturo Marquez, providing stunning contrast in this varied and exciting program. Casa de Dios USA, 3030 Dickerson Pike, on December 19 at 7:30 PM. Casa de Dios serves a large Hispanic community with over 2500 members. • Isaac Litton Middle School reviewed by a parent

My 4 children went to this school and 5 out of 9 of my grandchildren have went to this school and nothing, I mean absolutely nothing has changed as far as being a decent educational school. It is by far the worst school I have ever been a part of.

Will it snow in Nashville this weekend?

Due to the cold temperatures, Metro Nashville announced Thursday it was opening an overnight shelter at East Park Community Center, 600 Woodland St., for the next several days.

Will it snow in Nashville this weekend?
CLOSE Despite forecasts earlier this week suggesting the possibility of flurries on Friday in Middle Tennessee, the region probably won't see the white stuff this weekend. The National Weather Service in Nashville on Thursday said a dry air mass expected to move through the state likely won't bring enough moisture to produce snow.

  • East End Prep reviewed by a parent

I wish I would have had my children attend a different school. Choices for middle school are limited and I based a decision of the Great Schools Rating but it is not a great school. They have a merit/demerit system but they rarely give merits and only make children feel bad about themselves. Demerits are given but do not always inform the child of negative behavior so when it continues they just keep marking them down and give no opportunity for the child to correct it.
