Nashville painter Jodi Hays explores the structures and subtext of community

Where:  919 Gallatin Ave #4

Nashville painter Jodi Hays explores the structures and subtext of community
Nashville painter Jodi Hays works in the tradition of abstraction, blending contrasting hues, stripes, grids and geometric shapes that evoke cityscapes and architectural forms. Her complex canvases are in essence an exploration of place, particularly the constructed environments we've shaped and that shape us, individually and communally.

Better Know a Brewer: Wesley Keegan of TailGate

In addition to the brewery in West Nashville (that has a taproom, restaurant and event space), TailGate operates a tasting room and restaurant on the Music Row roundabout and has plans to open another at 811 Gallatin Ave. by the end of this year.

Better Know a Brewer: Wesley Keegan of TailGate
In 2014, TailGate Brewery owner and brewer Wesley Keegan relocated his brewery from San Diego to Nashville. Already an award-winning brewery but wanting to expand in the Southeast, Keegan figured that Nashville was a better place to brew due to the burgeoning craft brew scene here (and he had family in the area).
