Titans' awful offense puts Mike Mularkey on defensive

And all this poor execution doesn’t excuse the coaches. Mularkey is going to get blasted all week for a fake punt in the third quarter that was stopped (after the Cardinals challenged and replay review overturned the initial spot, a rarity), leading to a Cardinals field goal to make it 7-6 Titans.

Titans' woes put Mike Mularkey in the crosshairs
GLENDALE, Ariz. - It was up to the Tennessee Titans to save Mike Mularkey. And they couldn't do it. And all those close wins up until Sunday look like a little more like pig lipstick now, don't they?

Country music and Nashville's honky-tonk row grew up together

Country music and Nashville's honky-tonk row grew up together
Bachelorette parties, neon honky-tonks with window stages, and celebrity-driven restaurants reign supreme on Nashville's Lower Broadway these days. In the name of growth, construction cranes dot the city's skyline and historic buildings on Music Row are often threatened or lost to make way for new condo buildings as shiny as Carrie Underwood's Grammy Awards gown.

Titans find way to make it difficult, but they also find way to win

And one magical Mariota drive later, all is well again – a 24-20 Titans win Sunday at Nissan Stadium to sit on the mantle next to that 12-9 overtime grinder at Cleveland and that 23-20 escape of Baltimore.

Titans find way to make it difficult, but they also find way to win
They tantalize and they terrify, the Tennessee Titans showing just enough in bursts to stay ahead in all these boring games against AFC North teams, but then self-sabotaging enough to avoid any comfort. Marcus Mariota throws a perfect pass ... Rishard Matthews drops a sure touchdown.
