We sat down with Sparks as the finishing touches were being applied to the new downtown eatery in the historic Life and Casualty Tower at Church and 4th to discuss the concept, the menu and the experience.
The Fairlane Hotel, a boutique hotel that is taking over a redeveloped midcentury office building downtown at 401 Union St., has released partial details about some of the restaurants planned for the hotel.

That includes the historic Southern Turf Building at 222 Fourth Ave. N., whose basement houses Skull's Rainbow Room. Before buying that National Register-building for $6 million, Miller purchased a majority stake in the Skull's bar and lounge that’s known for its burlesque shows.
