Titans find way to make it difficult, but they also find way to win

And one magical Mariota drive later, all is well again – a 24-20 Titans win Sunday at Nissan Stadium to sit on the mantle next to that 12-9 overtime grinder at Cleveland and that 23-20 escape of Baltimore.

Titans find way to make it difficult, but they also find way to win
They tantalize and they terrify, the Tennessee Titans showing just enough in bursts to stay ahead in all these boring games against AFC North teams, but then self-sabotaging enough to avoid any comfort. Marcus Mariota throws a perfect pass ... Rishard Matthews drops a sure touchdown.

Health care needs a permanent fix: Letters to the editor, Oct. 18

I hope not to start a fight but to start a discussion about the meaning of the First and Second amendments to the Constitution.

Health care needs a permanent fix: Letters to the editor, Oct. 18
CLOSE We need a better fix for health care. The president seems to want Congress to fix health care, but showed us again that he's fine with disabling it in the meantime. I earn enough money that I don't qualify for the health care cost subsidies that the Affordable Care Act relies on, and I pay a pretty substantial monthly fee for coverage with a very high deductible.

Titans super fan has 33 tattoos, plans to add more, ''Til I run out of room'

“I’ve had people get on Facebook and say, ‘You can’t be the No. 1 Titans fan.’ Well, I don’t see anybody else getting tattoos like I’ve got,” said Firkins, who is from Kentucky.

CLOSE Wearing jerseys and waving flags wasn't enough for longtime Tennessee Titans fan Mitcht Firkins. He wanted a more permanent display of his love of the team. So he got the Titans logo tattooed on his upper left arm. And then he just kept getting more ink.
