CLOSE May is National Burger Month. It's also National Salad Month, but I'm going to wait a minute on that to pay homage to the food that I love so much even cartoon versions of it make me hungry. Seriously, when I was little and watched Wimpy eating hamburgers on Popeye cartoons, I always wanted one so badly.

Everyone knows you long-distance runner-warriors need to pile on those carbs for energy. Those of us for whom "marathon" is generally preceded by "Netflix" also need our energy.
