Western Hills Church of Christ, at 7565 Charlotte Pike, is having its churchwide yard sale 7 a.m. to noon Saturday. All proceeds go toward a Honduras mission trip. westernhillschurch.org.

Belmont voice professor takes stage for Street Theatre Company’s Cabaret Series

The Parthenon is in Centennial Park at 2500 West End Ave.  Its hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 12:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday.  Admission is $6; $4 for seniors 62 and over; $4 for children 4-17; free for members.

The performance is at 7 p.m. Sunday at Street Theatre Company, 6727 Charlotte Pike, Nashville. Tickets are $15, available at streettheatrecompany.org. The event is BYOB.

    Belmont voice professor takes stage for Street Theatre Company's Cabaret Series
    Street Theatre Company's Cabaret Series is back this weekend, with the fabulous Jo Lynn Burks. You may know her as resident musical director and voice professor at Belmont University's Musical Theatre and Commercial Voice Departments. But Burks also is an accomplished keyboard player and singer, having toured with Gladys Knight, Roger Daltrey and Nashville touring artists such as Laura Bell Bundy.
