Police search for 14-year-old accused of opening fire outside Pearl-Cohn High School

Demario Crowder, 17, was shot around 2:30 p.m. Friday near 26th Avenue North and Albion Street. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment and was in critical condition that night.

The department identified the suspected shooter as a 14-year-old boy, whom the Tennessean is not naming because he is a juvenile. Demario Crowder, 17, was shot around 2:30 p.m.

Stratford High School basketball game stopped after report of two fans possibly armed

Demario Crowder, 17, was shot near 26th Avenue North and Albion Street about 2:30 p.m., according to police.  He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment and was in critical condition as of Friday evening.
