Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch, 315 Chestnut St., St. Louis, Mo., (314) 655-1234, stlouisarch.regency.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html

Revitalized Gateway Arch in St. Louis reopens just in time for July 4

Yes, it's the home of Nashville hot chicken. But with roots set in decades of Southern cooking meshed with the influence of immigrants from the far reaches of the country and world, Nashville is quickly building its repertoire of top-notch restaurants. Country music wasn't born in Nashville.

Remember that early voting for the mayor's race runs through Saturday at all early voting sites, with Election Day on Thursday, May 24. I am supporting Mayor David Briley in this race, as I believe his steady leadership will help bring needed stability to Metro at a critical time.
