3 Nashville property sales face roadblocks, jeopardizing millions for Metro budget

Facing the most backlash is the proposed sale of the old Murrell School property, totaling more than seven acres, at 1450 14th Avenue South in Edgehill. 

The sale of the former fire hall involves 0.87 acres of prime real estate in the middle of Green Hills at 2025 Richard Jones Road

The Metro Fire Department abandoned the fire station in 2015 to move into a new Station 20 facility at 1626 Harding Place.

On the same night as the Murrell school meeting last week, Murphy held a separate meeting on the future of the public works facility at 3800 Charlotte Avenue. She said the neighborhood is still reviewing what it would like to see at the site.
