Metro Set to Clear East Side Homeless Camp

The camp, one of Nashville's largest, is positioned beneath the criss-crossing overpasses just east of downtown, near the intersection of Fifth Street and Main Street. It developed last summer after Metro cleared a different camp on private property behind the nearby railroad tracks.
