It's our favorite day of the year! Thanks to all who showed their support for Tennessee's farms and forests for #TNAgDay2018. We appreciate our friends and partners who came together to host a dinner for lawmakers on Monday and featured livestock and wood products at the Cordell Hull building on Tuesday. After Smokey Bear demonstrated the proper technique, the Senate and the House battled it out in the crosscut saw contest. Congratulations to Jeremy Fasion and Bill Dunn who brought home the win for the House. The silent auction benefited Society of St. Andrew - Tennessee and Ag in the Classroom. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee took home a check for $1000 from Shooting Hunger. And thank you to the farmers and foresters who keep us fed, sheltered, clothed and fueled.
