The Nashville footprint of Chick-fil-A is continuing to grow. The Atlanta-based fast food chain is planning a Midtown Nashville location at 1622 Church St., according to Metro permit documents.

Fisk University opens 'World War I and The Great Migration'

The show is up through April 7.  Carl Van Vechten Gallery is at 1000 17th Ave N.  Its hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday.  Admission is free.

    Metro police responded to a shooting just after midnight Saturday morning on I-40 West at 46th Avenue. A woman was parked in her vehicle on the shoulder of I-40 West with a gunshot wound to her thigh. Police believe the victim was shot during a road rage incident.
