Will the Council get the Donelson TOD right?
July 16, 2018 I'm prepping for the Council meeting this week and see the proposed Donelson transit-oriented development district up for 3rd reading again. I've worked hard trying to make this legislation better over the last half year or so. I have decided however to vote against it.

CLOSE 5 to Try: Chicken(s) on a roll Chickens get a bad rap for being fearful little birds. In my somewhat limited experience, birds are scared of very little. I've been watching this summer as a mama mockingbird mercilessly dive-bombs my cats. They're definitely scared of her.

Review: 'Love Never Dies' offers stunning design and performances, but little substance
There's something rather fitting about the Coney Island sideshow setting of "Love Never Dies," Andrew Lloyd Webber's much-anticipated sequel to "The Phantom of the Opera." Its haunting melodies and lavish production values certainly conjure up all the mystery and mayhem of a summer boardwalk. But, alas, the magic is fleeting.
