    CLOSE Mayor David Briley's administartion on Wednesday revealed a new plan to alleviate downtown Nashville's growing homeless population, in partnership with luxury housing developer Tony Giarratana. A homeless "services center" topped with about 100 affordable-housing units envisioned for homeless people will be constructed where a Giarratana-owned parking lot now stands at 301 James Robertson Parkway.
