GiGi's Playhouse - Nashville added 11 new pho...

During the fall 2017 semester, GiGi's Playhouse - Nashville was grateful to partner with the Hispanic Family Foundation to offer an adaptive dance class for individuals with Down syndrome approximately 7-15 years old that met at HFF’s Baila dance studio. Last week, our GiGi’s class performed at HFF’s 3rd annual Baila recital, “Christmas Around the World,” in front of an audience of 300+ people at Plaza Mariachi Music City. They did an amazing job and we couldn’t be prouder! Thank you to Ms. Diana and everyone at HFF; our amazing teachers, Ms. Becky and Ms. Brooke; our awesome volunteers, Brittany, NeNe, Becca, Virginia, and Taylor; and our wonderful dance students and their families! Happy Holidays! #GiGisBelieves #GiGisStrong #GiGisPlayhouseNSH #GenerationG #Baila #HispanicFamilyFoundation

This year has been the deadliest in Music City for pedestrians. As of early December, there have already been 20 people killed in Nashville alone. So far, there have been at least 280 people hit and injured across Davidson County this year. The Tennessee Highway Safety Office credits Nashville's exponential growth for the uptick in accidents.
