We love smiling faces! We're giving a shout-out to country artist Tracy Lawrence who's helping the fine folks at the Nashville Rescue Mission feed the hungry again this year for Thanksgiving. Our Deputy Commissioners Gary West and Lorrie Brouse were on hand Tuesday morning to help raise awareness of fire safety and meet the Mission's staff, volunteers and the cheerleaders for the Titans and the Preds. #TuesdayThoughts #Nashville #FireSafety
The house fire happened at 300 Thomas Avenue in Hohenwald on May 10. Investigators determined the cause to be arson. Amanda Tripp, who lived at the home with her father and stepfather, was believed to be responsible.

It happened in the 20 block of Claiborne Street around 4 p.m.
The fire was reported about 9:05 a.m. at 125 Lafayette Street at Big G's Deli, a Metro Nashville dispatcher said.
On Thursday, Metro's Convention Center Authority voted to move forward with the purchase at that price, which equates to $150 a square foot.
